Communication
Parent-teacher communication is key to a student’s success.   Core teachers welcome the opportunity to meet with parents and guardians during the school year. Parents are encouraged to monitor the progress of their child.  To schedule a conference, please call, write a note, or send an e-mail to our team. We will respond within twenty-four hours.
Make-Up Work
Anytime a student is absent from school, a note from a parent or guardian is required. Please include your child’s name and date of absence. Make-up work is the student’s responsibility. Each core teacher has a “While You Were Out” station where students can retrieve their assignments. The student will be required to make-up their assignments in the allotted amount of time that is given by the teacher. It is advantageous for parents to set a routine early in the year to check agendas daily for assignments. As such, your child’s agenda should never be blank.
